1829 double-hemisphere world map
In outline color. With the exception of the missing Antarctica some trouble in the high arctic, the world is finally in its settled form. This same map appears in Black’s General Atlas: “A series of Fifty-Four Maps from the Latest and Most Authentic Sources” from 1840 onward, but this issue from Longman et al seems to be an earlier printing from an unidentified publication. “London, Published by Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown & Green, Paternoster Row” “Drawn & Engraved by Sidy. Hall, Bury Street, Bloomb.y”
