1748 map of the dispersal of Noah’s children

Gorinchem, 1748–50. From a Dutch bible. Coastlines are contemporary with the date, but the toponyms are ptolemaic. The map shows an interpretation of the biblical account of the dispersal of Noah’s descendants. The Tower of Babel is the vignette.
